**The Steering Committee continues to accept applications for Steering Committee membership. However, to respect the focus and continuity needed in this final stage of the planning process, the Steering Committee is NOT reviewing new applications at this time. The Steering Committee will begin reviewing new applications again in September 2009. We will hold all applications received in July and August and will contact applicants in September.**

Apply here to join the HOPE Collaborative Steering Committee.  When fully seated, the Steering Committee will comprise a maximum of 21 members, including two co-conveners (from the Alameda County Community Food Bank and the Alameda County Department of Public Health), two representatives from each action team (or whatever working-group designations are developed in the implementation phase), at least two youth, one representative from the Oakland Food Policy Council, and eight at-large members.

Steering Committee members are expected to participate in Steering Committee meetings. Most of the current Steering Committee members also participated in one or more of the four action teams and currently represent these action teams in the final phase of the planning process.

There is one application for youth and adults, with youth defined as a person between the ages of 14-25.  The application can be found at the link to your left.  Please share the application with those who hold a demonstrated commitment to the vision of the HOPE Collaborative.  Applications should be sent electronically to hank@c-prep.org
