Local Sustainable Economic Development Action Team Charge

The Local Sustainable Economic Development Action Team will identify opportunities that create environmentally friendly alternatives for the production, manufacture, distribution, retail and recycling of foods in an urban community through direct investment in the development and sustainability of local enterprises and neighborhood-based business.

In carrying out this charge, the Local Sustainable Economic Development Action Team will ensure the accomplishment of the following tasks:

i)       Assess current initiatives and programs that support local sustainable economic development and entrepreneurship and also threats to local sustainable economic development.

ii)     Develop action plans that include indicators of increased local sustainable economic development and identify methods to track progress towards change.

iii)   Develop action plans that include strategies for policy and systems change that improve local sustainable economic development.
